The Friends of Prairie House As we approached second anniversary at WALA we had a great chance to meet Amy Irizarry (a non-Mt.-surveillance volunteer) who runs the Farm Improvement Council of Prairie Home Associations. Today we will be doing 10 days of outdoor training. Amy and the Friends of Prairie House will be building some interesting new tools and systems to protect the farmer’s field. But our goal really comes from not just the program of farmers and local gardeners, but from providing the community with these tools, while also being able to enhance the sense of community that WI-WALA provides.
